Baltimore Office of Promotion and the Arts (BOPA)
Grants of $5,000 to Maryland nonprofit community groups and arts and cultural organizations to develop and present public arts projects in eligible locations. Funding is intended to support the work of small to mid-sized arts organizations. All activities associated with project grant requests for funds must take place in Baltimore City. If the event is virtual, the organization applying for funding must be located in Baltimore City.
The Communities Thrive Organizational Project Grant supports small and mid-sized arts organizations in the production and presentation of artistic works accessible to the general public within the City of Baltimore. The Communities Thrive Organizational Project Grant supports — in whole or in part — specific arts projects that demonstrate originality, vision, and benefit or interest to the community. Grant awards support projects for organizations and community groups that work in a wide array of arts and culture disciplines including performing arts, media arts, visual arts, literary arts and on-line arts projects.
