Awards to Maryland female professionals in eligible locations in recognition of outstanding leadership. The award is intended for women leaders who have demonstrated success, perseverance, and innovation in their respective industries. Selected awardees are also mentors who are trying to cultivate the next generation of leaders. Eligible nominees must be based in either Baltimore City, or Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Cecil, Harford, and Howard counties.

Additional Eligibility Criteria
The Baltimore Business Journal is looking to honor the region's top women leaders as part of its Enterprising Women of Excellence awards. To be eligible, nominees must be a Greater Baltimore professional based in either Baltimore City, or Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Cecil, Harford and Howard counties.

Nominations close on May 26, 2023.
Once nominations close, the BBJ staff will select the winner and reveal them online within the following two weeks. The honoree will be highlighted in the BBJ's Enterprising Women section and during the event, to be held on Aug. 3, 2023.
Nominees with repeat submissions will have no advantage over those with one nomination. The selection process is not swayed by the number of nominations an individual receives.
