Grants of up to $1,000 to Maryland businesses and nonprofit organizations to promote agriculture. Funding is intended to support projects and events that will promote the agricultural industry and public education on the topic. Special consideration will be given to smaller, quality type of promotional/educational projects.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants may be Profit or Non-Profit organizations.

Grant Application Guidelines:
- Grant funds will not be awarded for year-after-year operating costs.
- Grant funds will not be awarded for salary.
- Grant funds may not be used for indirect costs.

Applications received will be reviewed by the grants committee and honorees approved by the Council board. Notification emails will be sent in December and the grant awards will be distributed at the 53rd Taste of Maryland Agriculture on February 2, 2023.
