IN 2018, FOUNDATION STAFF CONTINUED THEIR COLLABORATION WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI, WORKING ON THE CORAL REEF RESILIENCE MODEL. THE FIRST PEER-REVIEWED SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATION WAS WRITTEN AND SUBMITTED TO CORAL REEFS FOR PUBLICATION. FOUNDATION STAFF ALSO TRAVELED TO SAUDI ARABIA TO PARTICIPATE IN THE FUTURE OF THE RED SEA BIODIVERSITY WORKSHOP HOSTED BY KING ABDULLAH UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (KAUST). THIS LED TO COLLABORATIONS BETWEEN THE TWO ORGANIZATIONS. THE COOK ISLANDS FINAL REPORT WAS FINALIZED BY THE FOUNDATION, AS WELL AS OTHER SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATIONS WITH PARTICIPANTS OF THE GLOBAL REEF EXPEDITION. FOUNDATION STAFF ATTENDED THE ALLIANCE FOR CONSERVATION EVIDENCE AND SUSTAINABILITY LAUNCH IN WASHINGTON DC AND PROVIDED FEEDBACK ABOUT SUCCESSFUL CONSERVATIONS EFFORTS OF THE FOUNDATION GLOBALLY.
