Grants to Maryland nonprofit arts organizations in eligible locations to promote the arts and enrich the lives of local residents. Funding is intended to encourage diversity and excellence in the arts; broaden opportunities for local artists and arts organizations; and increase the availability of arts activities in Washington County. Eligible activities are open and accessible to the public.
The purpose of the Washington County Arts Council is to foster the excellence, diversity, and vitality of the arts that will enrich the lives of the people of Washington County and enhance the social, cultural, educational, and economic qualities of the community.
