We have a partnership with a local Best Buddies organization who join us in our activities when school is in session during the fall and spring semesters. We host a Catholic Mass offered at a nearby venue followed by a dinner for the community---residents of the group homes, their direct support staff and the Best Buddies. The meal is offered for free. And the also organizes weekend events for our community, such as socials, going to movies, etc. This sometimes involves paying for transportation, food, and the cost of the event such as movie tickets.
