Grant Description
Grants of up to $2,500 to Maryland nonprofit arts organizations to improve access to the arts in eligible locations. Funding is intended for arts programs and activities that will benefit underserved populations or fill a community need. Eligible projects benefit the residents of Anne Arundel County.

The Mini-Grant program is designed to support innovative, well-defined arts-related projects that are directed to a new or broader audience, preferably within underserved communities.

In 2021, the Arts Council of Anne Arundel County adopted new goals directed toward increasing the diversity of artists and arts organizations supported by its grant programs. This includes prioritizing funding for artistic activities that promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice, and are accessible to all. Mini-Grant applications for projects that reflect these goals, including partnerships among grantees for these purposes, are definitely encouraged.
